December photo challenge day 4: Joyous (paper products)

Today’s picture was of something joyous. What’s more joyous than motivational paper towels? Maybe you woke up to find that your house was on fire and you forgot that the fire department existed. Panicked, you spastically attempted to put out the fire with Dixie Cups cups full of water with no such luck. After your house was completely destroyed, you went to go wash your hands and you noticed that your paper towels said things like “Friends are flowers in life’s garden,” “Gardening is a way of showing you believe in tomorrow,” and “You can bury a lot of troubles by digging in the dirt.” (am I the only one who thinks that last one is a bit sketchy?). Suddenly, your life didn’t seem so horrible after all!

Um, right.

Motivational paper towels, guys. Only in America.

  1. You are truly amazing—in being able to find joy in paper towels. My paper towels are wordless and blah, but you have some that are inspiring and worth the paper they are written on!!! G

  2. Actually, someone gave my daughter a giant pack of Hello Kitty toilet paper from Japan. I think Japan may have even more cutsie and motivational paper products than the US!

    • Thaaaatt’s a bit weird. Although I have an uncle who lived in Japan for almost 20 years and I’ve seen the bizarre things he’s brought back, so Hello Kitty toilet paper isn’t too far fetched.

  3. Picco, I can’t come up with a picture for today. This is super creative and I applaud you. It’s only day 4 and I may have already failed the photo challenge!
