Ciao, I’m Picco. No seriously, that’s my real name. It looks really weird on the birth certificate… I am a
teenage 20something girl and this is my blog. I started it with the goal of cooking my way through the Italian cookbook, The Silver Spoon, before I graduated from high school. But, as usual, things don’t go the way I’d like them to. In spring of 2011, my little sister was diagnosed with Celiac Disease-meaning she can’t eat gluten (wheat, malt, barley etc.). So this blog has kind of branched off into me making gluten-free food for her. I blogged a bit in college, but decided to start up again now that I’m in grad school. I’ll still post gluten-free recipes occasionally, but I figured out that movies about college are completely unrealistic because they never mention the soul-crushing debt you’ll be in. Therefore any food I’ll be making will be on a currently unemployed grad school student budget.
